Funds will allow them to continue to operate and grow their Culinary Education (CE) program, conducting 241 CE classes in FY26, equipping young individuals with the knowledge and skills to prepare healthy meals, addressing the root causes of hunger and food insecurity.

The Core Collective

Funds will support the daily operations of their Transitional Living Program, which provides safe housing and life skills development for youth experiencing homelessness. Grant support will help provide essentials such as food, household supplies, and the salaries of staff who make the greatest impact: therapists, youth development specialists, and life skills coaches.

Food Literacy Project

General operating funds will provide vital support for their Youth Cultivating Change programming and the establishment of a permanent farm, allowing them to expand their reach and deepen the impact of hands-on, farm-based learning experiences for young people and their families.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County

General operating funds will allow them to serve an additional 200+ youth throughout the school year with fresh, nutrient-dense, seasonal produce, ensuring consistent access to healthy foods. Youth will benefit from improved nutrition and, also develop lifelong habits that promote wellness.

Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii

General operating funds will provide BGCH vital stability to continue helping more than 3,500 youth reach their full potential through safe, affordable, and enriching programs. Funds will also sustain essential out-of-school services, meals, and mentorship for thousands of youth. It will help deliver 100,000 snacks, 35,000 meals, and 25,000 lbs. of groceries, ensuring BGCH remains a steady, nurturing resource for Hawaii’s children.

Funds will support Future Center services, events, and programming at five high schools, enabling more students to choose a meaningful career path, transition to high-growth postsecondary and career paths, and have the skills necessary to succeed in the workforce.
