Funds will allow them to continue to operate and grow their Culinary Education (CE) program, conducting 241 CE classes in FY26, equipping young individuals with the knowledge and skills to prepare healthy meals, addressing the root causes of hunger and food insecurity.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina

Backpack Program funds will enable them to distribute 1,250 backpacks to children in the community, ensuring no child goes hungry on weekends or school breaks so they can stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn.

Help of Southern Nevada

Funds will enable them to continue housing homeless youth who will receive both safe shelter and benefits from programming. Long term, they hope that these youth will not become part of the chronically homeless adult population.

Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows

Grant funds for the Food Security and Nutrition Program will help keep kids fed and nourished. Every partnership they form in providing this service helps the larger goal of feeding more kids every year — an endeavor they are wholly commited to, providing a stable foundation upon which youth can thrive across all areas.
