Funds for the FreeMeals program empower children and families to move beyond the limitations of food insecurity, giving them the resources and support to thrive. By delivering healthy, hot meals directly to families, schools, and foster programs, FreeMeals helps families focus on growth, learning, and opportunity.

Walden Family Services

Funds for the Transitional Housing Placement Program will enable them to change the life trajectory of 140 foster and former foster youth, helping finance free housing and comprehensive supports designed to help them successfully transition to adulthood – giving youth the best shot at living their best lives.

The Oakland Public Education Fund

General operating funds will allow them to remain a nimble and responsive partner to OUSD, provide excellent service to the schools and fiscally sponsored projects, and scale their impact effectively. This will help galvanize the giving community to provide funding, volunteers, and community resources to Oakland public schools to ensure every student has what they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

South County Outreach

Funds will enable South County Outreach to expand their School Pop-Up Pantry Program to bring fresh, nutritious food to more children and families who are facing hunger and food insecurity, making food security more accessible as community needs continue to increase.

Solutions for Change

General operating funds will provide safe, stable housing and supportive services for families overcoming homelessness—empowering parents to rebuild their lives and children to thrive in a secure, nurturing environment.

Social Impact Fund

Student Impact Initiative program funds will empower middle and high school students to become changemakers in their community as it recovers from the Eaton fire. Through interactive workshops, students discover their leadership potential and understand that they have the power to make a difference, channeling their strengths into meaningful community service projects that create a positive impact.

San Diego Youth Services

Program funds for Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) WORKS! will empower them to provide paid culinary and barista training to six youth, helping them build confidence, earn certifications, and explore careers in food justice and entrepreneurship—all within a safe, trauma-informed environment.

Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services

Program funds for No Student Left Hungry will provide healthy, nutritious food for students and families across Sacramento County, ensuring children and youth at 28 schools have the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Parentis Health Foundation

Funds will enable them to train 100+ volunteers in evidence-based literacy instruction, provide 200+ children with personalized book kits to build permanent home libraries, and equip families with bilingual resources to support reading at home, ensuring that vulnerable students receive the intensive, relationship-based intervention needed to catch up academically and discover the joy of reading.

P F Bresee Foundation

Funds will provide critical flexible funding that enables Bresee to respond to challenges while continuing to serve as a trusted community anchor. Support will be used where needed most to stabilize households with children through emergency assistance, case management, and referrals to partner agencies, to sustain core youth programs including providing stipends for high school students serving as paid youth leaders, and scholarships for first-generation college students through our College Access and Success initiatives. With this support, youth in Central Los Angeles can continue to thrive.
