Program funds for SEA (Successful Educational Achievement) will directly enable them to serve additional middle schoolers who are currently failing, providing each with a trained university mentor/tutor who will transform their academic trajectory.
General operating funds will help support academic achievement and gang prevention in low-income and at-risk youth. These grant funds will be used to directly pay for financial aid scholarships and help subsidize the costs incurred for providing these programs.
General operating funds will directly support 50 children, and further their goal of supporting 1,000 children in foster care by ensuring they have someone who is solely focused on their well-being.
Funds will support Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego’s COOK program, providing teens with workforce training and mentorship while delivering hundreds of nutritious meals to children in the community.
